The Small People by Cecily heirloom dolls are handmade in the artist’s California studio. The 4” dolls cast resin heads and limbs are individually hand-painted, the soft cloth bodies have a wire understructure for positioning and movement. The outfits, hats and props are all handmade. Each doll is signed by the artist and dated on the bottom of the left foot. This girl has long brown hair tied with a red silk bow to compliment her drop waist blue dress with tlace and tiiny buttons. She is carrying a watering can and posies. Please note flowers do show some fading. Original tag still attached reads, "I am a unique individual, hand made with tender loving care. My left foot bears Cecily's signature and the date of my birth." Dated 1982.
