Her contributions were plentiful; she served as chairman of the National Association of Miniature enthusiasts and Board Member of the International Guild of Miniature Artisans. This book is the pinnacle for miniature collectors. It highlights 12 master artisans such as Peter Aquisto, Ralph Partelow, Frank Whittemore, with details about their endeavors in miniatures as well as beautiful photographs of their work. This unique tome has not only been signed by Ms. Smith, it has several personal notes and signatures of many of the artists. The book was owned and autographed to the original owner of Just Miniature Scale. Joan collected the signatures through the years while attending various dollhouse miniature events.
